A Word of Thanks...
First, let me say how thankful I am that you have answered a call - I believe from God - to lead
a small group. Whether you realize it or not, God has been preparing you for this moment for
a very long time. Long before Jesus called the first disciples he knew who they were, what
their strengths and weaknesses were, and yet in spite of their weaknesses he chose some of
them anyway. They weren't perfect in knowledge, wisdom or faith. Most of them lacked any
formal training whatsoever. Nevertheless, Jesus used them to change the world. Because of
their willingness to learn at the feet of Jesus, be empowered by the Holy Spirit and surrender to
God's will, God was able to do miraculous things in their life and in the life of those they met. I
believe that God is still in the life changing business; but, God won't do it alone. God used the
early disciples to impact their world, and God is going to use you - if you are so willing - to
impact our world today
